Life Lessons Learnt in the Year of the Tiger and other animals

Some the hard way. Mostly the fun way - Witnessing!

1) Thou shalt not thrust your happiness on the miserable. Empathise if you can. Else stay silent. Saying how you successfully dealt with a similar problem is not inspiring. It is annoying. To quote an "annoyed", it is like walking out of a 5 star hotel after a heavy meal and advising the beggar outside to be contented with what ever they have and the worst part: ending with - "look at me!"
2) The worst vice is advice. Seriously! No one wants to listen to your opinion. They want you to reassure them on theirs. Order if you can. Appeal if you must but advice is ineffective. (So what is this post doing? Hopefully entertaining.[;)])

3) Thou shalt not carry two phones. Trust me. Its not cool! Gives a taste of double marriage to Brahmacharis. (There you go. THAT word again. Sorry Namaji [:P] )

4) Facebook is for recreation. Thou shalt not delude Thyself that it is anything more.

5) In absolutely any situation, amusement is a better response than righteous indignation. Even better is a self contained amusement not even shared with others.

6) If Thou art not happy with what Thou art, Change. Attempting to put down others to make yourself feel better is falsity of the highest kind.

7) No matter how close you are with everyone, having some alone time helps.

8) Thou shalt not follow a single theme for Thy blog and let it stay idle due to lack of ideas. Illusions of Grandeur do not stick to a single theme.

9) If Thou are to write life lessons of 2011, publish it atleast by the end of Jan 2012. Else pretend that it is a chinese newyear post like yours truly. Happy Year of the Rabbit to you all. Hop Hop and Hop in Joy. [:D]
